COLÁISTE Lorcáin, Castledermot hosted its transition year graduation ceremony and ball recently in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow.
Among the award winners were Anthony Nowak, who received student of the year, along with academic achievement awards presented to Grace Byrne, William Clifford, Erica Corrigan, Patryk Klosinski, Gabriel Kovacevic and Anthony Nowak. Grace Byrne and Harry Bryan were recognised with sports personality awards.
The school extends thanks to the transition year ball committee, particularly Alannah Sherry and Isabel Flood, for their dedication in organising the event, and to TY co-ordinator Jamie Walsh.
