Best wishes are extended to Margaret Townsend, Linkardstown, who recently retired as school secretary of Tinryland National School after 29 years of outstanding service.
Always at the centre of school activities and someone who had a great knowledge of all workings of the school, Margaret will be missed by her colleagues, pupils and parents.
On the same day before the summer holidays, Anna Quirke Bolt retired after 16 years on the teaching staff. Her presence will also be missed in the school with significant contributions to special education, fair trade and green schools initiatives.
