We Will Rock You
Almost 70 young people to take to the stage and behind the scenes as We Will Rock You comes to VISUAL Carlow this August After months of auditions, rehearsals and hard work, tickets are now officially on sale for We Will Rock You 2026, an exciting new production from Evento Creative Arts Academy that will bring the music of Queen to VISUAL Carlow this August.
Featuring a company of almost 70 young people from Carlow, Wexford, Kildare, Laois, Kilkenny, Cork and Donegal, the production will see 60 performers take to the stage, supported by a dedicated backstage and technical team, making it one of the largest independently produced youth musical productions ever staged in County Carlow.
Under the direction of Michael Florin Cahill, alongside choreographer Marie Cashin, Vocal Director Clara Hutchinson, Stage Manager Pamela Earl and an experienced creative and technical team, the company has spent the summer developing not only a spectacular musical production, but also confidence, friendships and lifelong skills through the performing arts.
"This production has never just been about putting on a show," said Michael Florin Cahill, Executive Producer and Director.
"It's about creating opportunities for young people to challenge themselves, make new friendships, build confidence and experience what it's like to be part of a professional production. The level of commitment from this company has been nothing short of incredible, and we can't wait to share what they've created with audiences this August."
Packed with Queen's greatest hits, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, Somebody to Love, We Are The Champions and We Will Rock You, the production promises an unforgettable night of live theatre for audiences across the region.
We Will Rock You 2026 runs at VISUAL Carlow from Wednesday 26th to Friday 28th August, with performances beginning at 7.30pm each evening.
