Halloween fundraiser in aid of Tullow Day Care Centre
Great night promised in the Crablane
THE LOCAL community has rallied behind Tullow Day Care Centre after it was hit by two robberies in quick succession.
Cheryl Stanley, one of the organisers of a fundraising Halloween party in Crab Lane, explained: “As a community, we want to do everything we can to help raise money for Tullow Day Care after the two robberies they have had. Tullow Day Care Centre is a vital part of the community. It’s terrible what’s happening to them, but the whole community has been amazing and really getting involved with it and we’re hoping to raise a lot of money for them next weekend.”
The Store in Crablane is hosting the Halloween party on Saturday 26 October at 8pm. All proceeds from the night will go directly to Tullow Day Care. Tickets cost €10 and will be available to buy at the door on the night.
The party will have a costume contest, as well as a raffle full of spot prizes from local businesses. DJ John Lacey will also be there on the night to get everyone in the donating spirit.
A host of Tullow businesses have donated money and prizes for the night.
