Roll up, roll! All is well in the magical kingdom of Barrowvale when an exciting Christmas circus rolls into Carlow, bringing glitz, glamour, and a touch of chaos. With dazzling dance routines, top-class singers, and Striking Productions’ signature sparkle, this year’s panto is a riotous reimagining of the classic tale.

Guiding us through the madness is a charming child storyteller, adding a fresh twist to the classic tale. The main circus attraction is the Three Quare Bears; star performers who are ready to trade the spotlight for peace and porridge in Oak Park... or so they thought. When the eccentric ringmaster announces the Lady Lovely Locks competition, the claws come out and the curls get bigger. Local girls line up to compete for the title. Enter Goldilocks - harmless, hopeless, but dreams of winning that crown. She’s not alone, the contestants will be coached by retired beauty queen and local diva State Amond, back to prove she’s still got it (and then some).

Helping (or possibly hindering) the competition are Barrowvale’s busiest and nosiest hairstylists, played by our beloved local comedy double act, who are armed with hairspray, hot rollers, and hilarious one-liners.

Get ready for festive big laughs, big hair, and even bigger personalities because in Barrowvale, nothing is ever “just right”… it’s quare savage!
