Events ‘as Gaeilge’ on Ceatharlach's Culture Night

Lambert's Coffee House will host an event as Gaeilge on culture night

AN early evening session of Irish songs presented by members of the Carlow Ukulele Players is one of the events  as Gaeilge being offered as part of culture night on Friday.

The event will take place in Leabhair Agus Lattes café on Potato Market, Carlow from 5-5.45pm. Audience members are welcome to sing along to popular songs learned at school, such as Báidín FheilimíTrasna na dTonnta and  Óró Sé do Bheatha ̓Bhaile.

This will be followed by the Mic Oscailte as Gaeilge in Lambert’s Coffee House, Dublin Street, Carlow at 6pm. A  céad mile fáilte is extended to all to attend this open mic session and, maybe, take to the floor with a song or tune, poem or recitation, a story or drama piece. All contributions to be in Irish.
