Concert for peace in aid of hospitality kitchen
The concert will feature a number of local choirs
A CHARITY concert is aid of St Clare’s Hospitality Kitchen will take place in Carlow cathedral on Sunday 20 October at 4pm.
‘Deep Peace – Voices for Community’ will feature a number of local choirs, including Carlow Cathedral Choir and Carlow Voices, with the theme of peace evident in the wonderful repertoire chosen. Music and narration will be dotted through the performance.
The concert is free, but a recommended patronage of €10 is suggested for over-16s to help support this very worthy cause, which is so vital in our community. St Clare’s Hospitality Kitchen has experienced an increase in demand for its service, so the support of the Carlow public is needed now more than ever.
All are very welcome for what promises to be a beautiful afternoon of music and reflection.
