Coláiste Eoin teachers hike Lugnaquilla to raise money for Éist cancer support

Teachers and staff in Coláiste Eoin, Hacketstown recently undertook a challenging yet fulfilling 15km hike to Lugnaquillia’s peak.
The arduous trek was not only great exercise and a chance to see stunning Co Wicklow but also a significant act of support for Éist Cancer Support Services.
Completing the climb in roughly four hours, the team members proved they were up to the challenge, while they also raised an impressive €3,433 for the cause. Their dedication mirrors the unity and strength of our school community.
The day concluded with the Northern Lights illuminating the night sky, which was the perfect ending for them.
The whole adventure was part of a wellbeing week that was recently in Coláiste Eoin. The money was later donated to Éist Cancer Support Services.
