Carlow Rambling House to host Chinese visitors

Bernard Jennings performs in Club D'Art
The singers, musicians and storytellers of Carlow Rambling House will entertain a delegation of students from China with an afternoon packed with Irish culture.
Almost 30 Chinese students who are on a cultural programme with Carlow International English Language School and SETU will be treated to hand-picked stories and songs from the local Rambling House members.
Seán Harding, Daithí Barron, Tony Corcoran, Blaithín Butler and host, Bernard Jennings, will perform for the special guests.
Carlow Rambling House is one of nine such groups in the county to have been awarded funding under the Creative Ireland programme, under the direction of Aileen Nolan from the Carlow Arts Office.
The special event with the Chinese visitors is taking place on Thursday 18 July from 2.30pm. If you’d like to go along, call Bernard on 087 2441888.
