Baltinglass car club to celebrate 50 years of Ford Fiesta

WEST WICKLOW Classic and Vintage Vehicle Club will hold the annual Baltinglass Classic Car Show and Run on Sunday 9 August.
The show has been running since 2010 and has grown into one of the biggest events of its kind in the country, attracting participants from all across Ireland.
The event will feature an additional special category to mark the 50th anniversary of the Ford Fiesta and prizes will be given out for the best Fiestas in various categories.
Entry fee for the event is €25 which includes a meal for the driver, entry into the driver’s draw and a free goody bag which includes a commemorative plaque and more.
Additional meals for non-drivers will be available to purchase at the registration point at Germaine’s Inis Fáil, W91 R5YX, with registration starting at 11am in anticipation of a 2pm start.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Réalta building at Scoil Naomh Iósaf in Baltinglass which caters for autistic children and those with additional needs, and also to Baltinglass Day Care Centre.
