Tony Kelly scored Clare's goal from a second-half penalty, while Limerick midfielder Adam English was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.


Westmeath and Kildare are heading to extra-time in the Leinster Football semi-finals.

Alex Beirne scored a last-gasp equaliser for Kildare as it finished Westmeath 1-16 Kildare 19-points in Tullamore at the end of normal time.
