He still has a number of chances over the weekend and perhaps his best will be in the first race at at Fairyhouse Winter Festival on Saturday when he rides favourite Jimmy Du Seuil for his father in the SIS Supporting Irish Racing Beginners Chase in the 11.36am at the County Meath course tomorrow. He also has a ride in the last race of the day, when he saddles up on a rare for Gordon Elliott on Premier Division in Willie Elliott Memorial at 2.30pm

On Sunday he gets the leg up on Lultimatom, also stabled at Closutton, in the Bar 1 Casino (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race, the finale at 3:41pm.

Mullins has been Ireland’s Champion Amateur Jockey a record 17 times. He has ridden nine winners at the Cheltenham Festival and won the Randox Grand National at Aintree in April of this year aboard Nick Rockett.
