Met Éireann has issued two status yellow weather warnings for wind and rain for Carlow, which will come into effect on Monday night because of the incoming Storm Bram.
The first status yellow warning is for rain and will be valid from 9pm on Monday night to 9am on Tuesday morning.
Met Éireann are warning about difficult travel conditions, possible river flooding and surface water as a result of the heavy rain. The warning also covers the counties of Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford.
The status yellow wind warning is valid from 3am on Tuesday morning until 9pm on Tuesday night.
Storm Bram will bring very strong gale-force southerly winds with potential impacts including flooding of low-lying coastal areas, especially during high tide, wave overtopping, difficult travel conditions, and debris and loose objects being displaced.
Met Éireann has advised the public to stay clear of waterways in the county, particularly elevated river levels and embankments.
Road users and pedestrians should pay particular attention to any fallen trees, fallen wires and/or ESB poles.
Always stay safe and stay clear of electricity lines and wires, as these are live and therefore dangerous.
You can report any damage to ESB Networks by contacting their 24/7 emergency phone number: 1800 372 999/021 238 2410.
The ESB power check service can be accessed to report and/or ascertain power outages in your area at www.PowerCheck.ie.
