Two houses burgled in Tullow

Gardaí are appealing for information

GARDAÍ are appealing for information after two premises in Tullow were burgled on Tuesday 30 October.

A business premises on the Thomas Traynor Road was broken into between 3am and 8am, when the culprits gained access through a first-floor window. Some welding equipment, a computer hard drive and a quantity of cash was stolen.

Just before that, at 2.45am, two men broke into an apartment at Court Mews, Bridge Street. They forced open the front door and stole a television. However, in their haste, they dropped it, so the TV was recovered by the owner.

One of the men was wearing a blue jacket with dark tracksuit bottoms, while the other wore grey tracksuit bottoms, a black baseball cap, white runners and a khaki puffer jacket.
