HEALTHY Carlow has announced the launch of the Tullow Multicultural Supper Club, a pilot initiative aimed at celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures through the universal languages of food and music. The inaugural event took place recently at the Cairdeas Centre in Tullow.
The purpose of Tullow Multicultural Supper Club is to foster connection and understanding among diverse communities; providing a welcoming space for individuals and families to come together, share their culinary traditions and enjoy music from various cultural backgrounds.

“We believe that food has the power to unite people,” said Martina Walsh, Healthy Carlow. “This initiative not only highlights the diverse cultures present in Tullow but also promotes cultural exchange and understanding among residents. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the community's diversity.”
Participants enjoyed a buffet of dishes, showcasing the flavours and cooking styles of Tullow’s diverse communities in this unique experience.
“The Tullow Multicultural Supper Club is an inclusive initiative aimed at bringing together people of all backgrounds.” said Frank Morris, Tullow Men’s Shed.
“It was fantastic to see individuals and friends partaking in this celebration of culture, community and connection.”
