Spring concert from Carlow Voices tomorrow evening

The programme features new choral delights and classic gems
CARLOW Voices will hold its spring performance on Saturday 17 May at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Haymarket, Carlow (R93 YW77).
Artistic director/conductor Marian Gaynor has planned a diverse programme of choral music that will shine a spotlight on the choir’s inimitable style. The concert will present a blend of popular, jazz and folk vocal music, showcasing the choir’s creative spirit with fresh new works along with staple standards.
The programme will feature renditions of new choral delights such as
by Billie Eilish, by Carly Simon, classic gems like and by Simon and Garfunkel to the funky, cool arrangement of .Carlow Voices will be joined on stage by renowned local musician and singer Karen O’Neill, who will delight the audience with her smooth, sultry vocals.
The concert will be accompanied by the choir’s resident live band with Maeve Lyons on piano, Emma Picovici on cello, Niall Kelly on bass and John Gladney on percussion.
