A WONDERFUL night of festive cheer, fantastic music and support for a wonderful cause took place in the Arboretum in Leighlinbridge. The special annual Christmas concert in aid of Éist Cancer Support Centre was once again a huge success, raising a phenomenal €13,000.

Rachel Doyle, along with management and staff of the Arboretum, has been a steadfast supporter of Éist and the centre is deeply grateful to them for once again hosting this wonderful event.

“A big thank you to our incredible performers – Derek Ryan, patron of Éist, Olivia Douglas, Adrian Ryan, Damien Bowe, Tina Kavanagh, and the Looney Tuners. Your talent and generosity made the night unforgettable,” said Anne-Marie Peters of Éist Cancer Support Centre.

“We are also deeply appreciative of our amazing MC James Lakes and our photographer Margaret Walsh, who captured stunning photos of the evening. A big thank you also to Stephen Corry from Premier Sound & Lighting Solutions for the stage, sound and lighting, which brought the event to life,” she added.

A raffle had some amazing prizes, thanks to the generosity of the various sponsors, and was instrumental in the success of the evening.
“Finally, to everyone who attended and supported us on the night, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks to your incredible support, the event raised an astounding €13,000,” said Anne-Marie.
