Presentation College stages much-loved Sisters Acting Out

Students of Presentation College shine on stage during their Transition Year show, Sisters Acting Out
TRANSITION year students in Presentation College, Carlow produced the musical
recently, bringing a new twist to the beloved story. The sell-out show was full of fresh energy and music that had audiences on their feet.
When aspiring singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, she’s forced into hiding in the most unexpected of places, a convent. Struggling to fit into a world of discipline and devotion, she soon discovers the power of music and friendship. With her bold personality and unstoppable talent, she transforms the struggling choir, bringing new life to the convent and the community. But as her past catches up with her, Deloris must rely on her newfound sisterhood to stand strong.

The show was directed by Michael Florin Cahill, choreographer was Marie Cashin with Ciara O’Doherty as musical director.

The TY students did themselves proud as
was a celebration of teamwork, confidence and the joy of performing. With showstopping numbers, laugh-out-loud moments and plenty of heart, this production is the perfect showcase of the students’ hard work and dedication.
