Kildare bombshell Victoria causes a stir Love Island

KILDARE Love Island contestant, Victoria Onanusi, has recently joined the cast and has wasted no time making an impact in the Love Island villa, with the latest Irish bombshell already causing a stir among both Islanders and punters alike.

Victoria is a 25-year-old personal assistant and part-time model originally from Kildare, but now based in Manchester.

On entry to the villa, Victoria caused quite a stir with the other contestants when she lured an already coupled up Ope Sowande onto a date.

She has said that while she has no “strict type”, they need to be “tall, handsome and have a great smile.”

“I’m a sucker for a good smile,” she said.

For turn offs, she said she would tend to stay away from someone cocky or aggressive.

“That’s a massive turn-off for me. Definitely someone who complains too much or is unnecessarily rude to other people. That’s probably my biggest ick.”

Ms Onanusi explained that while she is looking for love in the villa, she has never been in a relationship before. However, this does not mean she is shying away from any romantic opportunity.

“I have a really strong belief in myself, and I think what’s meant for me will always be mine. So I don’t really believe in competition,” she said.

According to Ladbrokes, Ms Onanusi entered the betting markets at 7/1 to be crowned the show's Top Female contestant after arriving alongside fellow bombshell Namibia Rosa. The pair immediately turned heads when they invited several of the male Islanders out of the villa for cocktails and dates, leaving the girls behind to watch events unfold in real time.

Ladbrokes spokesperson Nicola McGeady said: "The Irish are taking over the villa. Even in the early weeks it looks like Fitzy and Victoria are in contention to come out on top."

The drama began when the girls were instructed to prepare for an evening of cocktails, unaware that the boys had received a secret invitation to meet two new bombshells at a nearby bar.

After receiving a text message, the boys debated whether to remain loyal to their existing couples or take the opportunity to get to know the newcomers.

At the bar, Victoria and Namibia made an immediate impression, with one Islander admitting:

"My head is absolutely gone, my head is spun."

Back in the villa, the girls were left stunned when they learned they had been stood up.

A text informed them: "Girls, bad news, you've been stood up. The boys have gone to meet two new Bombshells."

Moments later, another message revealed they would be able to watch the entire evening unfold on a big screen.

The viewing quickly exposed several Islanders' wandering eyes, leading to frustration and disbelief among the girls.

During one of the evening's most talked-about moments, Ope Sowande sat down with Kildare native Victoria for a one-on-one date and immediately turned on the charm by kissing her hand.

When Victoria asked about the progress of his current coupling, Ope admitted things were moving slower than he was used to.

Victoria then asked: "So you still haven't had your first kiss?"

To which Ope cheekily replied:

"No, are you going to be my first kiss?"

The exchange left the girls watching back at the villa visibly shocked.

As Cocktail Night came to an end, the boys returned to the villa accompanied by Victoria and Namibia, only to be met with an icy reception.

Tensions continued to rise as several difficult conversations unfolded. Angelista, Ope’s original partner on the show, refused Ope's request for a chat after she watched him flirt with Victoria onscreen.

With Victoria Onanusi's arrival already creating tension, attracting betting support and testing existing relationships, the Kildare bombshell looks set to play a major role in the weeks ahead as the show intensifies.
