iPhone snatched out of woman’s hand

GARDAÍ in Carlow are appealing for information after a thief snatched a phone from a woman’s hand while she was out shopping. The incident happened in Penneys, Kennedy Avenue, Carlow on Tuesday 10 December at about 9.20am. The victim was standing in the carpark when an unknown man ran up to her, grabbed her Apple iPhone and ran away with it.
Later that day, at lunchtime, an e-scooter was stolen from Hanover Bus Park in Carlow. The owner of the scooter had locked it at the bus park at 1.35pm and when they returned just 15 minutes later it was missing.
Carlow gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of either of these incidents to contact them on 059 9136620.
