Homes in Bagenalstown and Castletown hit in same-day burglaries

Gardaí are investigating the burglaries
GARDAÍ are investigating two separate burglaries that occurred in County Carlow last Friday, 3 October.
The first incident took place at a house in Cloghrusk, Bagenalstown, at approximately 3pm.
Two men were disturbed by the homeowner and fled the scene. There was no forced entry, and nothing appeared to be taken.
A second burglary occurred the same day at Castletown, Carlow, between 9.30am and 7pm. A rear window was forced open to gain entry and the house was ransacked. Nothing was reported as missing at the time.
Investigations are ongoing in both cases. An Garda Síochána is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in either area to come forward with information.
