Heartfelt tributes paid to LEO's Mary Wynne

CARLOW’S Local Enterprise Office has paid tribute to their dear friend and colleague, Mary Wynne who passed away unexpectedly last Friday at her home.
Mary Frances Wynne (née Byrne) of 54 Castlewood Gardens and formerly of 17 Springfield Drive, Carlow, was a much-loved by colleague at Carlow County Council and highly-regarded among the many people she supported over the years at Enterprise House.
Her loss is of course most acutely felt by her beloved son Darren, her heartbroken parents Harry and Betty, grandchildren Jack, Alex and Leah, and siblings Catherine, Paula, Dorothy, John, David and Niall, daughter-in-law Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
The Local Enterprise Office paid tribute to Mary saying; ‘With heavy hearts, we heard the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Mary Wynne.
For over 18 years, Mary touched the lives of countless people who called Enterprise House their business home, always extending kindness and care to everyone who walked through our doors. She would try do something for everybody, and her warmth and generosity will be deeply missed.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with her parents, son, daughter in law beloved grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and extended family and friends during this incredibly painful time. RIP’
As a mark of respect County Council’s Local Enterprise Office is closed from 3pm this afternoon (Monday 21 October), and will reopen on Wednesday 23 October 2024.
Mary’s funeral arrangements are as follows; reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) today from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm this evening. Removal from there tomorrow morning, Tuesday at 10.30am to The Holy Family Church, Askea, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
