Pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography
Sentencing was adjourned until 18 February
A CARLOW man pleaded guilty to possessing images and videos of child pornography when he appeared before Judge Eugene O’Kelly at last week’s sitting of the local circuit court.
John King, 61 Ashfield, Blackbog Road, Carlow pleaded guilty to possessing images and videos defined as child pornography under Section 2 of the at that address on 1 August 2019.
Aiden Doyle SC submitted to Judge O’Kelly for costs for a psychologist’s report, which was granted. He then adjourned sentencing 62-year-old Mr King until 18 February 2025.
