Big Gig charity concert set to rock Kiltegan

On this weekend for a good cause

THE village of Kiltegan will be rocking this weekend when the local pub, Talk of the Town, hosts a charity concert in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. Aptly called ‘The Big Gig’, the night will feature some of the most talented singers and musicians from the area, including Suzie Toomey, Liah Furlong and a Ukrainian choir, among others, with well-known band Say La V headlining.

“We’ve done these fundraising gigs for the Irish Cancer Society before and they’ve been a huge success. This year, we’ve some great musicians so it should be a great night. We’d like to ask everyone to come along, have a bit of craic and enjoy the night,” said organiser, Pat Lee.

The Big Gig is taking place on Saturday 26 October in The Talk of the Town pub, Kiltegan. Doors open at 6.30pm, with the first act being on stage at 8pm. Tickets cost €15 and are available in the pub, from Pat on 086 8270084 or on the night.
