Local supporters are  urging their community to turn daffodil yellow on Friday 28 March to raise vital funds and give hope to cancer patients

" We’d like to ask everyone to come along, have a bit of craic and enjoy the night"

It comes after the Irish Cancer Society warned that cancer survival rates are unlikely to improve because services are underfunded.

In 2024, an additional €20 million was requested by the HSE for the national cancer strategy. That funding was not provided.

The new code will help cancer survivors who have previously faced difficulty in accessing mortgage protection insurance due to their diagnosis
