The Amgen Irish Open will return to The K Club this September, following a year in Royal County Down.

The State planning watchdog refused permission for Conor McGregor to build the new house complete with a cinema, bar and two swimming pools.

The home was originally constructed as the final home for the late horse trainer, Vincent O'Brien and his wife, Jacqueline, after they moved from their equine training facility Ballydoyle.

Works worth eight million euro will go on display at the Art and Soul event at the K Club in Co Kildare this weekend.

The largest single bill incurred last year was the €17,284 that was spent at the K Club, or the Kildare Hotel and Country as it is listed in statements.

Concerning events since the end of December 2022, a note states that “the company has been keeping a close eye on the inflation and cost of living effects to the company”.
