ONE of Co Carlow’s oldest citizens was sadly laid to rest yesterday. Elizabeth Kavanagh (née Kelly) from Broughillstown, Rathvilly passed away peacefully in her 104th year at the District Hospital, Carlow last Friday surrounded by her loving family.
