THE Irish Cancer Society has partnered with Éist Cancer Support Centre to offer 445 cancer patients, survivors and their family members in Carlow free counselling services.

WHEN an array of sought-after items went under the hammer, the generous Carlow public didn’t disappoint, with a fantastic €7,500 raised at the recent Carlow Lions Club charity auction.

FROM Carlow town out to Ballinabranna, there was a lively rumble of engines as the community gathered for a recent charity tractor run that raised upwards of €4,500 for worthy local causes.
