Rowena Dooley, Dealer Principal at Dooley Motors said: “We are very proud to be opening this fantastic new dealership. As a future-focused company, we invest in innovative brands which will deliver the technology, sustainability and driving experience required for the future. In line with the Kia ‘Opposites United’ design language the overall showroom space was split into two different areas, comprising of a vehicle display zone and a separate customer zone, each with a different spatial theme and colour scheme. Where these seemingly opposing areas intersect, there is a vivid red lighting feature installed that runs all the way across the store, to unite both spaces, expressing the energy that connects and contrasts the two. Digital elements and a significant emphasis on customer areas will be central to the new design.

The customer zone is a warm space with a minimalistic design, consisting of wooden tones and an earthy coziness more in line with a living room rather than a showroom. The point of this space is to create a whole new experience in the journey of purchasing a car, offering the kind of relaxation that makes everyone feel at home. This feeling is further enhanced by timber effect flooring, wooden walls, gentle lighting and woven furniture fabrics, adding additional warmth designed to put customer completely at ease.
