The Kildavin NS girls' team, recent winners of the county indoor camogie schools competition held in Old Leighlin

THE BOYS and girls of Kildavin NS have done the double again!

Fresh from Cumann na mBunscoil success, Kildavin NS were back to winning ways, this time for the recent primary schools indoor camogie and hurling finals, held in Old Leighlin in January and involving many Co Carlow schools.

Kildavin NS girls’ and boys’ teams both played skilfully on their respective days. It came down to the wire in both competitions, with the final match on both occasions proving decisive.

The boys played Rathoe, St Brigid’s and Newtown St Mullins, beating Newtown in the final match.

The Kildavin girls played Old Leighlin, Rathoe and Borris. The final puck of the ball against Borris rattled the net, giving Kildavin the overall win. Congratulations to everyone.
