SIX artists from Carlow will have the opportunity to exhibit their work at a Dublin venue for one night only.
The local artists will be chosen by Maurice O’Reilly, the owner of the Made In Carlow gallery in Carlow town.
The show will be held in the Arthaus Hotel near St Stephen’s Green, hosted by the Contemporary Irish Arts Society.
“This grew out of last year’s fringe festival in Carlow when Tony Strickland from the Contemporary Irish Arts Society talked to me about it. This is a great opportunity for our local artists to get exposure in Dublin and, maybe, spread their wings a little,” explained Maurice.
Sue O’Brien and Pat Purcell are among the six people to exhibit, with more to be added to the list.
Maurice invites people to attend the exhibition on Thursday 30 April at 6pm in the Arthaus Hotel, Dublin with an after-party taking place in the United Arts Club on Fitzwilliam Street Upper.
