Jackman returns to pro rugby

Tullow rugby legend, Bernard Jackman, has made his return to professional rugby with the news that he will be coaching in this season's English Premiership.
reported earlier this evening that the former Connacht, Leinster and Ireland hooker has agreed to join Bristol Bears as their new Head of Recruitment.
Bristol, who play their home games in the 27,000-capacity Ashton Gate Stadium, are led by Director of Rugby, Pat Lam. The New Zealand coach spent four years in charge of Connacht before taking over at Bristol.
Jackman himself has been Head Coach on three previous occasions; in France with Grenoble, in Wales with the Dragons, and most recently here at home where he coached Dublin side, Bective Rangers in the Leinster League.
The Carlow man has also made himself one of the most widely respected pundits in the sport, and has recently branched out as well to his latest role in the world of horse racing, as Head of Performance with Horse Sport Ireland.
