Master trainer Willie Mullins isn't quite ready to bring out the big guns just yet from his Closutton yard in the early stages of the new National Hunt season but the reigning champion trainer will be sending some of his stable stars north of the border on Friday.

Friday and Saturday at the track is the BetVictor Festival of Racing at the track, with BetVictor the new headline sponsors of the two-day meeting at Down Royal.

Mullins doesn't have a runner in the big race of the weekend, which happens to be the first Grade 1 of the season in Ireland, the BetVictor Champion Chase on Saturday, but the Closutton handler does have a few of his team heading north on Friday.

Below is a rundown of Mullins' Friday runners courtesy of the sponsors, BetVictor Online Casino.

Friday, 2.02 - Cameletta Vega & Korinthia

Mullins has two runners heading to the start for the third race on Friday's card , the grade 2 Mares Novice Hurdle.

Korinthia is currently second in the market with BetVictor at 9/2, only behind market leader Carrigmoornaspruce (10/11) for trainer Declan Queally.

Korinthia was a winner last month at Ballinrobe, scoring as a 547 favourite for Mullins in a maiden hurdle, winning fairly handily having been prominent throughout so has a very good chance of following up at Down Royal with top jockey Paul Townened booked to ride.

Mullins's other runner in the contest is Camaelletta Vega, a six-year-old mare out of superstar dam Quevega. She was last seen finishing fourth in a Listowel novice hurdle last month so has a bit of ground to make up to trouble the winners enclosure on Friday, with betVictor pricing her a 6/1 chance.

Friday, 3.47 - Where's My Jet

Mullins' other runner on the Friday card is Where's My Jet, last seen when unseating jockey Townend at Gowran Park last month.

Before that, Where's My Jet was beaten by The Yellow Clay in a Grade 3 contest and is currently a 13/2 shot with BetVictor in Friday's race, with the Gordon Elliott-trained Romeo Coolio leading the way in the market.
