Murphy names first Carlow team

Joe Murphy has named his first team as Carlow manage for the Leinster Football Championship game against Meath in Pairc Tailteann on Sunday (3pm).

The Éire Óg clubman has had limited time to work with the squad since his appointment at the start of the following the departure of Shane Curran. Murphy’s backroom has also been confirmed as James Clarke, Michael Kehoe and Dominic Mulligan.

Tinryland corner back Paddy Regan is the only Championship debutant named in Murphy’s starting XV.
