Sean Murphy and Lee Walker are the standout names in the squad released by Shane Curran ahead of the 2025 season for the Carlow senior football team.
Murphy was such a key figure for Carlow during Turlough O’Brien’s time in charge and his buccaneering and rampaging style brought him to national attention such was the quality he produced. Since he last played for the county football, he has played hurling for Carlow to good effect but he is now set to focus his attentions on the big ball again.
Walker has played for Carlow in the past when an O’Hanrahans clubman but since transferring to Graigecullen has been part of the Laois panel but he is set to return to Carlow colours.
The likes of Colm Hulton, Eric Molloy and Josh Moore are not available for a variety of reasons.
