Mount Leinster to host Leinster Poc Fada

All roads lead to Sliabh Bawn, Mount Leinster on Saturday morning (27 June) as representatives from the 12 counties in hurling and camogie descend on the hallowed ground to try their skill and might to see who becomes Leinster Poc Fada champions and go on to represent their county and province in the Cooley Mountains on the August Bank holiday weekend.
There are four distinct competitions, senior hurling, under 16 hurling, senior camogie and under 16 camogie and the trick is to complete the course with the least number of shots.
Representing Carlow in will be:
Senior Hurling- Ciaran Abbey (Naomh Eoin) Under 16 Hurling - Keelan O’Carroll (St. Mullins) Senior Camogie - Sarah Sheehan (Myshall) Under 16 Camogie - Sheana O’Neill (Myshall) The under 16 hurling, and under 16 camogie starts at 11am. The senior hurling and camogie start at 200 pm.
Registration starts at 10am on Saturday morning all are welcome to attend.
