Mount Leinster Rangers forward Ted Joyce is among the squad named by Carlow hurling manager Tom Mullally ahead of the 2025 season.

Mullaly recently spoke about how he is expecting a tough start to the new year for the team but the return of Joyce will certainly add another dimension to the attack where the likes of Donagh Murphy and Evan Kealy will be looking to push on after spending a couple of years around the panel. The superbly talented Alex Delaney is another youngster who will look to make his mark while Darragh Nolan is also included in a strong looking panel.

At the other end of the spectrum, Conor Lawlor and Jack Kavanagh have both retired.

Carlow begin their National Hurling League Division1B campaign away to Offaly on Saturday 25 January.
