Carlow's Allianz Hurling Division 1B game against is one of the many GAA matches around the country to have fallen foul of the weather.
The game was due to be played on Sunday afternoon in O'Moore Park but will now be rescheduled for a later date.
The weather has had a huge impact on games across the weekend with a huge number either postponed or moved to a different venue.
Although out of anybody's control, there is sure to be an element of frustration for Tom Mullally's squad.
They haven't played in the National League since their excellent win over Waterford on 2 February and that is likely to be their only game in that month. Their next game is at home to Davy Fitzgerald's Antrim on 2 March and then on Saturday evening away to Dublin on 8 March.
There is no game scheduled for the weekend of 15/16 March and that could now be when the refixed game against Laois takes place but with another game the following weekend against Westhmeath, that would mean that after a quiet February Carlow could be playing four weekends in a row before a potential league final on the final weekend of the month.
