The Carlow U15 football team enjoy their win over Longford in the Humphrey Kelleher Cup final

Carlow 3-8 Longford 2-9 

Carlow under 15s won the Football Academy intercounty final when they carved out a narrow victory over Longford in Abbotstown on Saturday.

Scoring two goals in the first half, Carlow were tied with Longford at 2-2 to 0-8 at the interval. The second half remained as tight but the Barrowsiders fought hard and deserved their two point success.
