Pat English, Brendan Leen, Michael Jordan and Mary Treacy form the management team
A few players are gone on J1 visas but they should be back. No major injuries.
Despite playing well, they were disappointed not to make the semi-finals last season.
“Making sure we are competitive and play good camogie. Improve and enjoy ourselves. Everything else is a bonus after that” Muireann English.

Rachel Breen Manager: Bill McCormack is back for a second year.
Not really players in and players out but the panel is probably a little stronger this year with some younger players coming up.
They were beaten in the semi-final by Myshall.
“To be honest for us we haven’t been in a county final for years so, at the very least, we want to get back into the county grounds on county final day.” Rachel Breen.

Michaela Donoghue Manager: Noel McSweeney from Wexford has been appointed
A number of players are travelling but young players such as Niamh Nolan and Helen Nolan have broken into the senior squad.
They won their 25th senior championship in a row beating Naomh Bríd in the final.
“Retaining the title but it is never easy. Carlow is getting more competitive every year.” Ciara Quirke.
Helen Roche
Eanna Ryan and Daire O’Brien from Tipperary are in their first year with the club.
They haven’t lost anyone. Anne Roche, Rachel Sawyer and Niamh Forde are all back from travelling. There are a few younger girls coming through.
Naomh Bríd lost the final last year to Myshall and in the 2025 league final between the two sides Myshall won by a point.
“We want to win the senior championship. That is it.” Helen Roche.
Mairead O’Shea
Pat Mosey Murphy Players in/out: It is a young panel with some players dropping to junior level this year and others coming into the first team squad.
They were beaten by Naomh Brid in the semi-final.
“Competing at first. It is a new year so you don’t know what is happening until teams start coming at you. Getting to a semi-final would be an achievement and any time you get there you never know what is going to happen on the day.” Mairead O’Shea.
Amy Moloney
James Connolly, Jim Cranny, Lisa Raleigh, Amy Kinsella, Alison Kennedy.
They haven’t lost anyone. A few fit and ambitious younger players have come into the squad.
Having gone from junior to senior they found the going tough. They hope to have learned from the experience.
“We did well in the league so want to play to our full potential in the championship. We were a bit unlucky not to get to the league final this year so getting to a championship final would be an achievement.” Amy Moloney.
Kelsey Cody Manager: Mick Lillis, Paul Mahon and Bernie Kelly.
The club has lost a number of players but some more have returned. A few minors have been introduced into the squad.
Having struggled at senior last season, at a team meeting at the start of the year, the players felt it would be better to play intermediate this year and build for the future from there.
“Hopefully winning the championship. We know about Burren Rangers from last year so it is getting used to playing Myshall’s second team now.” Kelsey Cody.
Katie Slye
Mary Nolan Players in/out: A number of junior players from last year have gone up to senior but some seniors have regraded to junior.
They didn’t lose a match all season.
“Do the same as last year.” Mya Farrell

Derek Treacy, Trevor Cowman, Paula Meaney and John Phelan.
It is the first year to have a second team and a lot of the older players who had retired have come back. There are a lot of young players in the squad as well.
“This is the first year Ballinkillen have fielded two teams.
Just to compete and set the scene for younger players coming up.” Sinead Joyce.
Kathleen O’Hara
Podge Ryan Players in/out: They have lost a number of players but some of the under 16s have come into the squad.
Kildavin-Clonegal qualified for the league final and the championship semi-final where they were beaten by Mount Leinster Rangers.
“Winning the championship.” Kathleen O’Hara.
Loretta O’Toole
John Joe Martin
It is a case of younger girls coming of age who would have been there or thereabouts this year. Some of the more senior players have been enticed to come back.
They got to the junior final last year but had a lot of injuries particularly among potential leaders.
“It would be fantastic for the young players in the club to see one of the teams come out with a bit of silverware. I think we are capable of winning both the senior and junior.” Loretta O’Toole.
Grace Mackey/Niamh Ahearne are joint captains
Noel Ahearne and Davy Holden. Mary Bates is involved as well.
It is basically the same panel as last year but some minors have come into the squad as well. Some other players have transferred to Setanta so they have a big squad.
They lost by a point in the semi-final to Myshall in the junior final.
“This year we are very united. We are just after winning the league final so we know what we have to do to win the junior championship.” Grace Mackey
Eileen Murphy
Michael Brennan and John Joe Murphy
It is a bit early to say at this stage. Potentially, they could lose a number of players to the senior side. On the other hand, a lot of players who haven’t played for some time are back which is a huge positive.
This is the first year that the club are fielding two teams.
“I think to be able to field a team and compete in all our games would be a massive start. Having a second team in St Mullins with a lot of girls coming back is huge.” Eileen Murphy
