Zoe (9) is donating her hair and raising money for autism charity
Zoe McCarthy (9) is raising money for AsIAm, Ireland's national autism charity.
Zoe McCarthy (9) will cut her very long hair cut for AsIAm, Ireland’s national autism charity, this Saturday, 29 August.
She was diagnosed with autism a couple of months ago and wanted to "help a little kid who has a special need like autism. And if that person needs hair I would donate it to her," she told .
Her hair will be cut at Peter Marks in Carlow town and her twin sister Lily, younger sister Isabella and parents Clare and Shane McCarthy will be there with her. The two girls attend Ballinabranna National School.
Zoe is donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust and has set herself a goal of raising €1,000 for AsIAm through her campaign “Zoe’s Cat Cut for AsIAm”.
