Woman's purse stolen from St Mary’s Cemetery

A WOMAN’S purse was stolen while she was visiting a loved one’s grave in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow last week.
The callous crime took place on Thursday 8 May at 11.30am when the woman was in the graveyard. She had parked her car and when she returned to it, she discovered that her purse was missing. It was later found discarded in the cemetery, but her money and bank cards had been stolen.
A suspicious-looking black Ford Fiesta was seen in the area at that time and gardaí have discovered that it was a stolen car.
