Two arrested in Myshall after overnight spate of burglaries

Two men were arrested in Myshall early Tuesday morning on suspicion of theft following a spate of overnight burglaries in the Castledermot, Tullow and Myshall areas.

Gardaí had received a number of reports of theft overnight on Tuesday 17 February, primarily of equipment and other items from garden sheds. The two men were apprehended after one of them had crashed the car into a garden wall in the Myshall area. The pair, with addresses in Dublin, were subsequently detained at Carlow Gardaí station and charged before Carlow District Court, yesterday, Thursday 18 February.

The vehicle the pair were discovered in had been previously reported stolen from Dublin.
