Three unrelated break-ins on Athy Rd in the past week

Three break-ins took place on Athy Road between 19-28 August.
On 28 August at 2.50 am a single male entered a house on the Athy Road by smashing a front window. The individual was confronted by the owner of the property and then fled. Nothing was reported stolen.
At some time between 3pm on 19 August and 3pm on 20 August, a house on Athy Road was broken into. Entry was gained by forcing a rear glass door. The house was disturbed, but nothing was reported stolen.
On 20 August, a car that was parked on Athy Road was broken into when its rear window was smashed. Nothing was reported stolen from the vehicle.
Gardaí do not believe that the three incidents are related and appeal to the public for witnesses.
