SETU Carlow student is laid to rest today

A student at SETU Carlow was laid to rest this afternoon after he was killed off his bicycle on Friday night.
Mohsin Hassan, aged in his early 20s, who had been living in Carlow town, died at the scene, following an incident which occurred on the N80 at Kilmeany.
A spokesperson for SETU expressed their sympathy with the young man's family.
"The SETU community is saddened with the news of the tragic road accident that happened in county Carlow this past weekend. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mohsin Hassan, a student of SETU. Supports are available within SETU for staff and students affected," said David Denieffe, Chief Operations Officer, SETU.
Mr Hassan remains were brought to the Carlow Islamic Cultural Centre (CICC) earlier today, Tuesday for Janazah and Dhuhr prayers with burial afterwards in Newcastle Graveyard, Dublin.
Gardaí are investigating the collusion which involved a BMW car and said no one else was injured in the accident.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses about the accident and ask anyone who was on the road between 10.45pm and 11.10pm on Friday, and who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, to contact them.
