Promotion for Carlow native
Garda Superintendent Barry Mills
Carlow native Barry Mills was recently promoted to the position of Garda Superintendent in the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Division. Son of Benny and Maisie Mills, Leighlinbridge, Benny worked for many years in Carlow as a detective, later becoming a sergeant in Bagenalstown, Leighlinbridge and then back to Carlow. Barry's two brothers are also members of the gardaí.
