Nominations welcome for this year's Chamber Business Awards

The Co Carlow Business Awards 2024 is currently taking nominations across a range of categories and welcomes entries from all kinds of businesses from right around the county. The categories include a health and wellbeing award. This is open to businesses that have excelled at putting systems and structures in place to support and promote the wellbeing of their employees.
The business supporting community award is open to businesses that take a proactive approach to supporting, promoting or working collaboratively with their local community Food and beverage producers award is for businesses that stand out for producing superior quality or innovative food or drinks products The professional services award is open to businesses in the professional services sector that exceed client or customer expectations. The research innovation and technology award welcomes entries from proactive and dynamic businesses that have identified and applied innovative ways to improve their products or services. Sustainable initiatives award welcomes entries from businesses that take a responsible approach – minimising their impact on the planet, while maximising their positive impacts on people, place and environment. The best online presence award is for businesses that have a strong, engaging and consistent presence on-line (on their website and social platforms) – ensuring customers have a great user experience.
Emerging business award is opened to progressive businesses that are excelling or exceeding customers’ expectations - and are less than three years in business, while the international business award is open to businesses successfully operating internationally. Culture heritage and tourism award welcomes entries from businesses, festivals, events or destinations that add to the local economy and that positively promote county Carlow. The daytime dining award welcomes entries from businesses that stand out for providing an excellent or innovative daytime food / beverage offering – in attractive surroundings The night-time dining award is open to businesses (licensed or unlicensed) that offer evening dining that exceeds expectations – for the quality / diversity of their food, the ambiance or the customer experience. Personal services providers a is open to services like hairdressers, barbers, beauticians etc that stand out for their excellence, skill or customer service Another category is the best presented premises/shop front with three awards up for grabs in Carlow town, Tullow/Carlow North and Bagenalstown/Carlow South.
The customer service award welcomes entries from businesses that excel in meeting the needs of their customers while the retailer of the year award is for retailers that provide a positive shopping experience to all their customers. The Family business of the year is open to family owned and run businesses that excel in their field. The outstanding small Business of the Year Award welcomes entries from business with less than 10 employees that have excelled in their field and that show future potential. The outstanding medium Business of the Year for businesses with less than 50 employees and the Carlow Business of the Year Award is for businesses with more than 50 that have shown exceptional resilience and growth.
