Several people seriously injured in crash on the M50

Several people have been seriously injured in a crash on the M50 in Dublin.

The two-vehicle collision happened between Junction 11 Tallaght and Junction 12 Firhouse southbound at around 5:30pm on Sunday.

Those injured have been taken to hospital for treatment.

The M50 from Junction 11 to Junction 12 southbound is currently closed, and diversions are in place.
