Lost Package pop-up store comes to Dublin
The popular lost packages shopping trend, which has toured across Europe and Ireland, is getting its first pop-up store in Dublin city centre.
It will be held in Jervis Street Shopping Centre and follows the success of previous pop-ups in Tallaght, Cork and Limerick.
The pop-up store opens on Saturday, May 9th and runs until Sunday, May 17th.
The company, King Colis, saves thousands of undelivered packages which would otherwise have been destroyed and gives customers the chance to reveal a unique prize.
Customers will have 10 minutes to choose a package or multiple packages, but cannot open them before the items are weighed to determine the cost.
They can only reveal the mystery package once the purchase has been made. The items can range from clothes, household items, cosmetics, household appliances and technology.
CEO and co-founder of King Colis, Killian Denis said: “The Lost Packages pop-ups have had huge success in Ireland with queues of people turning out to bag a mystery item.
"We’re very excited to be bringing the event to Dublin City, the first pop-up in Tallaght was very well received and we can't wait to bring the excitement to Dublin City Centre.
"There is no guarantee on what you might go away with but it's always a great adventure and a lot of fun for everyone involved.”
