Man arrested following burglary of business on Kilkenny Road

A MAN has been arrested and charged with the burglary of a food business on Kilkenny Road.
Gardaí said that the break-in occurred at approximately 1am on 25 July.
The man gained access to the business by breaking a pane of glass and stole a small quantity of cash.
The man was quickly identified by the business’s CCTV footage and was arrested within 12 hours of the offence.
He has since been charged and is scheduled to appear at Carlow District Court after the summer recess on 2 September.
Gardaí do not believe that the break-in is related to another burglary that occurred on the same date in the Burrin Road area.
